They are widely used in interior decoration. Wood plastic wall panels are suitable for installation on various walls, and the installation methods are also different. Cement wall: Wood plastic wall panels can be installed on the walls of buildings and are characterized by stability and durability.
Brick Walls: WPC siding can be installed on brick walls and is suitable for most building structures.
Gypsum wall: WPC wall panels can also be installed on modern interior wall materials such as gypsum walls.
Wooden walls: WPC wall panels can also be installed on wooden buildings or wooden interior walls.
Ceramic tile wall: Wood-plastic wall panels can also be installed on ceramic tile walls, such as indoor kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas.
There are usually three different ways to install indoor wood-plastic wall panels, namely adhesive, wooden bracket fixing, and snap-on. We need to choose the corresponding installation method according to the installation environment.
1. Adhesive installation
This installation method is usually suitable for flat and solid walls. For example, cement walls, brick walls, and plaster walls.
Prepare the wall: Make sure the wall is free of dust, oil, and other debris. If the wall is uneven, you can use putty or cement to repair it.
Measuring and Cutting Wall Panels: Start by measuring the dimensions of the wall and cutting the wall panels as per the project requirements.
Gluing: Apply an appropriate amount of structural glue or other adhesives evenly on the back of the wood-plastic wall panel.
Paste the wall panels: Align the glued wood-plastic wall panels to the position, paste them on the wall, and press them gently to make them firm.
Fixing and adjustment: Use weights or brackets to fix the wall panels and remove them after the glue dries.
2. Use wooden/metal brackets to fix the installation
This installation method is suitable for all kinds of walls, especially those that are uneven or require structural reinforcement.
Install the bracket: First, install the wooden or metal bracket on the wall according to the design drawing. The spacing is generally 40-60cm, and fix the bracket with expansion bolts or wood screws.
Measuring and Cutting Siding Panels: Next, measure the dimensions of the wall and cut the WPC siding panels as required for your project.
Fasten the WPC wall panels: Use self-tapping screws or nails to fasten the wall panels to the brackets.
Adjustment and inspection: Make sure the wall panels are installed flat and not loose.
3. Clip-on installation
This installation method is usually used for walls that need to be quickly installed and removed. For example, exhibitions, temporary decorations, etc.
Mount the bracket: First, mount the wooden or metal bracket on the wall.
Install the clips: Install the special clip accessories on the back of the wall panel.
Fix the wall panel:Align the wall panel clip with the slot on the keel and gently press the wall panel into the slot.
Check and adjust: Make sure all wall panels are firmly snapped in and adjust the position of the wall panels to ensure they are level.
1. To ensure the installation effect of the wall panels, it is recommended to check the flatness and cleanliness of the wall first.
2. Choose high-quality wood-plastic wall panels to decorate your interior space to ensure its durability and aesthetics.
3. During the installation of the wall panels, it is necessary to wear necessary protective equipment, such as gloves, goggles, etc.
4. Avoid installing wall panels in a hot and humid environment to avoid affecting its service life.
