How to choose the material of the skirting board?

Wooden skirting

Wooden skirting is divided into two types: solid wood skirting and density board skirting.

Solid wood is relatively rare in life. Although it has a good decorative effect, the cost is also relatively high, and it is easy to cause arching after a long time of use. Therefore, the most commonly used is the wooden skirting made of density board.

PVC skirting

As a substitute for wooden skirting, PVC skirting not only looks similar to wooden skirting but is also cheaper.

But its disadvantage is that the surface finishing layer is easy to fall off, affecting the appearance, and the visual effect is not as natural and textured as wooden skirting.

Wood plastic skirting board

PS polymer skirting board is mainly used to replace solid wood skirting board, stone skirting board, and stainless steel skirting board. It has good wear resistance and waterproof performance, but the cost is higher than PVC skirting board and density board skirting board, and it is not suitable for most families.
