Wood floor decorative strips, also known as floor pressure strips or floor decorative strips, are a kind of architectural decorative profiles used for floors.
Wood floor decorative strips are mainly used for transitions between floors, transitions between floors and doorsteps, transitions between floors and solid wood stairs, transitions between floors and carpets, and trimming of floors.
Wood floor decorative strips have various appearance designs, including right-angle buckle strips (also known as 7-shaped buckle strips, universal buckle strips, anti-slip strips), T-shaped buckle strips, C-shaped buckle strips, etc. Each floor decorative strip has its specific uses and advantages.
1. Solve the impact of thermal expansion and contraction of wooden flooring, reserve enough expansion space, protect the floor from deformation, and extend the service life of the floor.
2. Connect floor materials of different materials to make the transition smoother.
3. Cover the gap between the floor and the door to provide a beautiful transition effect.
4. Prevent dust accumulation between the floors.
5. Cover the gap between the floor and the wall to prevent dust from falling into the gap.
6. Protect the edge of the floor.

1. Install with adhesive
Apply adhesive (such as glass glue, or nail-free glue) on the back of the decorative strip, and then install it in the transition area of different floor materials, or directly install it on the edge of the floor.
2. Fix with nails
Use an electric drill to drill a hole every 15-20 cm in the ground, then knock a small piece of wood into each small hole, and then install the back of the floor decorative strip (with grooves) in the drilled position, and then fix it with nails.
This installation method is relatively firm and durable, but it will cause trouble when replacing and repairing later.
